Aluminum Pit Cover
AAE Aluminum Pit Covers keep long/triple jump pit sand dry and clean, while also enhancing safety by covering the pit when not in use. The structural aluminum planks are welded into individual panels, with each panel featuring a 3/8" recessed top for easy application of synthetic track surface or synthetic turf. These panels are custom-made to fit your pit and rest on the formed concrete ledge. For pits without a pre-formed ledge, AAE’s Aluminum Pit Cover Ledge (APC-LEDGE) can create a bearing surface to support the cover. Optional auxiliary support beams are available for heavy-traffic areas.
